Brentford Football Club has teamed up with Openpay to offer fans new ways to pay online for merchandise.
Offering responsible payment plans to Bees fans, Openpay further secures its place as one of the leading payments providers for sports team merchandise, following recent partnerships with Fulham FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Carabao Cup Semi-Finalists this season and currently 18 matches unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship, The Bees are enjoying another stellar campaign under Head Coach, Thomas Frank. Supporting their team through merchandise sales, fans will benefit from Openpay’s ‘Buy now. Pay Smarter’ payment solution, which responsibly spreads the cost of online retail purchases over two or three months, interest free on all purchases over £45.
Following an initial upfront payment for all purchases with Openpay, fans will then spread the remaining cost over an interest-free plan.
James Parkinson, Commercial Director at Brentford FC, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Openpay as Official Partners. Openpay offers a simple and hassle-free payment option, allowing supporters to spread the cost of their retail purchases with zero interest. This is an innovative addition to our retail offering and one that we hope our loyal supporters will consider during their online shopping experience.”
Andy Harding, UK Managing Director of Openpay, said: “This is a fantastic partnership for Openpay as Brentford are the team to watch in the Sky Bet Championship this season. With the opening of their new stadium, it’s an exciting period for the Club, and we’re thrilled to be part of it. While we all eagerly await the return of fans on match-day, we’re glad our payment solution can help fans support the Club through the purchase of replica kits and merchandise.”
