Telserv has become the supplier of choice for Colt Inbound Voice Services footprint expansion to 10 new territories: US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Norway, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Luxembourg. This takes Colts global footprint to 23 countries in total.
In today’s global economy, companies of all sizes across multiple verticals are increasing the rate at which they expand into foreign markets. But expanding into a new territory poses some daunting challenges, particularly in the field of IT and telecoms provision.
Depending on the business, companies may need to establish a physical office space, hire local staff and then provision local voice and data connectivity. This process can be expensive and time consuming, due to multiple factors including unfamiliar or complex local regulations and the need to establish relationships with as yet untrusted local suppliers.
Colt had an established voice business in 13 European countries with Colt’s Voice On Demand Portal providing enterprises and service providers with a fully automated digital process to order inbound voice services. The portal offers self-service ordering and a full record of orders placed from one centralised account across all Colt’s international footprint. Furthermore, a complete set of regulatory information for all countries is available online to help customers achieve compliancy.
Aiming at a seamless extension of its Inbound Voice Services portfolio to new geographies, Colt has selected Telserv as its partner to provision telephone numbers in 10 new countries whilst preserving a fully digital process end-to-end.
Telserv offers a cloud numbers platform that enables its customers to expand their portfolios with DID, Toll- Free and Premium Rate services in more than 145 countries through a single connection. With its truly global coverage — and automated provisioning of any type of number in more than 145 countries — Telserv really stands out in the market for inbound number services.
It’s a full-service offering, covering everything from number porting to regulatory compliance: a notoriously thorny area calling for specialised knowledge in every country. Telserv sells only to other service providers, becoming the engine behind many global inbound service offerings. Based on the implementation between the Telserv cloud numbers platform and Colt global voice services, operators and service providers can provision freephone or other local numbers and automate complex routing for calls via a single online interface.
This means virtual call centres can be set up with ease and services like inbound and outbound calls, call queuing, IVR (Interactive Voice Response), call forwarding, monitoring and reporting can all be taken care of quickly and efficiently, leaving the business to focus on its customers.
Telserv’s portal and full API set provides Colt (and therefor its customers) with an inventory of all available telephone numbers, a centralized view of all countries, self-service ordering and a full record of orders placed. It is a fully automated digital process, from order to cease.
The 10 new countries Telserv is delivering for Colt are in addition to the 13 where Colt Inbound Voice Services are already available – Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK. More countries are under consideration.
