A new dating app – BeLinked – has been launched on iOS and Android that unapologetically ‘weeds out’ (in the founder & CEO’s words) the unemployed and those with dead-end jobs.
It does this by utilizing the LinkedIn API (www.belinkedapp.com). While there have been a couple of dating apps in the past that have focused on matching the “educated” with degrees from Ivy League schools, BeLinked says its solution is more practical and focuses on what is important: matching people who have actual careers.
“At the end of the day, no one wants to go on a date with someone they may one day end up supporting financially,” according to BeLinked CEO, Max Fischer.
