World Telemedia Marbella kicks off next week on 18 October. Half of those going are new to world telemedia this year. The other half – all welcome old friends – this is your opportunity to make new contacts, make new business deals and for us all to make new friends.
World Telemedia has been going for 20 years and continues to be the only place where the world’s value added services industry, telecoms carriers, content providers and owners, as well as payment companies, media companies, broadcasters, gaming providers, charities and more can get together to look at how to leverage the power of mobile and fixed line telecoms and carrier billing to create the innovative services that consumers world wide crave.
This year we lead off as we did in Prague in 2015 with the highly successful and super interesting Country Updates. Sponsored by our exclusive compliance partner – Empello– these informal 30 min, ‘drop in’ clinics offer delegates an opportunity to research a wide range of attractive international markets, including UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland. South Africa, Brazil, Mexico and of course the UK.
Gavin Dent and Jeremy Flynn, Co-Founders of Empello, along with their Country Managers and some guest co-presenters representing billing gateways, aggregators, service providers and / or network operators – will be on hand to answer all your questions about these exciting markets.
For more learning head to the conference room where you can hear from leading global players about the IPRN market, affiliate marketing, OTT messaging opportunities, mobile payments and media interaction services from speakers including Nick Lane from Mobile Squared, Tim Green, John Strand, Mostafa Kamel, Boris Pelliccioni and many more.
More informally, we are also running a series of breakouts in the evenings looking at International Voice, Premium Content and Services, UK telemedia, Billing Disputes and AITs and Managing Consumers.
Around this we have all the usual networking and show floor activities and the show promises to be a fun and entertaining experience. And there are plenty of parties and fun to be had with your colleagues at our official networking events down in the Old Town. Salut to that!
