DAZN, a global sports streaming service, has expanded its payment options to allow customers to pay for their subscription via their mobile phone bill.
DAZN has collaborated with Telefónica Germany (O2) and Swisscom to enable Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), a faster and easier way for customers in Germany and Switzerland to sign up to its sports service. The innovation is designed to further simplify and streamline the customer experience and launches with the return of many live sports to DAZN, including the Bundesliga.
DAZN’s payment options currently include all major credit and debit cards, Paypal, Klarna and prepaid gift cards. Customers can also register and pay via the Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Fire TV through in-app purchases.

This initiative forms part of the ‘DAZN for Operators’ partnership programme via which DAZN collaborates with the world’s leading mobile carriers, broadband ISPs and pay TV operators. The programme works to make live sport streaming even more accessible for fans whilst enabling partners to build stronger, more valuable and long-lasting relationships with their customers through the mass appeal of live sport.
