0

Mobile network infrastructure around the world continues to evolve with the subscribers in mind and no more so than in Mexico. Here I-New, a fast growing mobile tech Services Providers has expanded its Latam business by launching a brand new MVNE platform called weex.

I-New’s strategy is to naturally link the mobile network to the daily habits of the service subscribers’ life. From offices all across the globe, the company is capable of providing, implementing and running highly competitive products and services – seamlessly across a converging mobile ecosystem.

The Austrian based company is already the number one pre-paid MVNO SP in Latam, and has already launched similar services in Europe and Asia Pac region. It is confident that weex will help continue their expansion by empowering young people to customize and control their mobile services use and to benefit from full cost and quota transparency. Customers choose the plan with the right functions for the right amount of time – based on specific daily needs and usage.

I-New CEO Peter Nussbaumer comments: “The I-New MVNE model allows us to aggregate multiple MVNO’s to run on the same time and to support compelling offerings with maximum convenience and competitiveness. MVNO has never been that easy. We’re very much looking forward to announce new Mexican MVNO customers running their mobile business on our award winning portfolio.”

This type of announcement highlights a number of key themes that will be addressed at the forthcoming World Telemedia event to be held in Marbella on the 18-20 October. Here delegates from across the globe will gather to consider new strategies and business models that will help drive value added services to connected subscribers across an ever expanding range of media distribution channels, networks and payment platforms.

Look out for the Empello Country Update program that runs throughout this three day event. Here an incumbent aggregator, content / service provider and / or network operator hosts 30 min “drop in” sessions that provide data on a wide range of attractive international markets including Latam, Europe and Africa.

There will be plenty of premium content profiles including games, gambling, chat, dating, competitions, voting, subscriber services, charities, retail, ticketing and events. Plenary sessions will also cover; how MNOs and VAS providers can work together, the rise of OTT strategies for content delivery and engagement, carrier billing and alternative payments, international voice, wholesale, fighting fraud and much more.
