Welsh retailer Maxx Group becomes first to let customers buy and spend Bitcoin

0

Fastbitcoins.com, a service that allows people to easily and safely buy bitcoins in physical outlets using cash, welcomes Maxx Group, a Welsh retailer providing brokerages of personal assets, special bullion services and safety deposit, as a partner.

Maxx Group has introduced FastBitcoins point-of-sale terminals into four of its locations (Llanelli, Swansea, Bridgend, Cardiff), which will allow it to meet customer demands for a quick, secure and convenient way to buy Bitcoin and spend it on everyday items. Maxx Group becomes the first retailer in Wales to implement Fastbitcoins terminals.

Fastbitcoins continues to build partnerships with merchants globally, empowering them with a way to sell and facilitate Bitcoin transactions. The business offers merchants a number of ways to generate revenues from Bitcoin offerings: the Point-of-Sale terminal which lets merchants print redeemable prepaid Bitcoin vouchers and take Bitcoin payments; and, physical Bitcoin gift vouchers.

Talking of the partnership and implementation, Amit Mohan, Director at Maxx Group said: “Fastbitcoins have given us a slick piece of kit that lets us not only sell Bitcoin, but also take payments for items in Bitcoin too. A lot of customers have started talking to us about Bitcoin recently, which is why I began to look at how to use it and get ahead of the curve. There are a lot of Bitcoin technology vendors out there but Fastbitcoins stood out. Their front and back-end technology was slick and not bulky like the ATM machines; the offering was transparent and easy to understand, and their team were friendly and knowledgeable. I’m excited to finally start offering this futuristic payment method. Who would have thought doing so could be so easy!”

In response, Danny Brewster, Managing Director of Fastbitcoins.com, adds: “I’m delighted to welcome Maxx Group as a merchant partner. With our Lightning Network point-of-sales terminals, I am confident the business will meet its customers’ demands for a really quick and easy way to buy and spend with bitcoin. The opportunity for merchants lies in people who today know little about Bitcoin; once they understand how easy it is to obtain and use, coupled with the added benefits of simply holding bitcoin itself, businesses who offer convenient transaction methods stand to benefit”.

Fastbitcoins is growing fast, and is working with merchants up and down the country to enable them to sell and accept bitcoin. If you are a merchant interested in offering Fastbitcoins services, or a customer wanting to know more about what Bitcoin is, how to buy it and how to use it, please visit:fastbitcoins.com
