Following MCP’s successful launch of VeriScanner earlier this year, the company has announced that their automated Ad tracking tool is now live in 14 territories across Europe, South Africa, Australia and Asia.
Commenting on their approach, Toby Padgham, COO, says: “We have developed a tech solution that enables our clients to gather the data they need in real time, 24/7 – using local resources. So, as opposed to the more resource heavy and cumbersome manual collation of data other companies use, we can pass on the savings that a tech led solution brings”.
VeriScanner’s Intelligent Ad Crawler searches ‘in-the-wild’ for advertising, highlighting non-compliant items and mapping commercial trends on a daily basis. Utilising Image Comparison techniques to identify banners (and other links) online and via social media, VeriScanner captures the full consumer journey through to the service landing page. The resultant snapshots, videos and trace logs are published on their Web tool. Version 2 is just released and includes, amongst many enhancements:
- Flow grouping that identifies Affiliate and Network trends
- Bespoke compliance portal for client ad flows with notes on non-compliant flows + alerts system
- Automated click-through from banner to merchant landing page
- Automated in-app Ad scanning
Brian Pettit, CTO, adds: “The tools we have developed will allow merchants to trial overseas territories safe in the knowledge that they are making informed decisions both commercially and regulatory wise. Due to the eminently replicable nature of our set-up, we envisage having 20 counties live by Q216”
MCP will be exhibiting at World Telemedia, Prague on 10-12 November, so feel free to contact us to arrange to meet.
