Mobile online casinos: what payment methods can you use?

0

When it comes to online gambling, one of the most important factors are payment methods. There are dozens of online casino payment methods available for users in the UK, but only some of them can be used on mobile devices.

With the help of Sister Sites, a British comparison website dedicated to online casinos, we’ve put together all available payment methods on mobile for players in the United Kingdom.

Debit cards

Back in April 2020, the UK Gambling Commission imposed a new rule which banned the use of credit cards at online casinos. Despite the ban, users registered with an online casino can still use debit cards, even on mobile devices. All online casinos accept debit cards, so you’ll never have to worry about sites not accepting the payment method.

PayPal

Another popular payment method which is accepted at online casinos on mobile devices is PayPal, the payment method commonly associated with eBay. Most online casinos in the UK accept PayPal, and it’s proven to be hugely popular with players because it offers fast deposits and withdrawals, it’s also one of the safest payment options available since you aren’t required to enter any personal or financial details.

E-wallet methods

E-wallet payment methods Skrill and Neteller are also hugely popular and widely accepted at online casinos on mobile devices. Like PayPal, these methods offer fast transactions and are incredibly safe to use. However, many online casinos charge fees to customers who use Skrill and Neteller, and many websites also ban customers from using Skrill and Neteller to claim bonuses, which isn’t great.

Mobile methods

In addition to the above methods, there are several mobile-based payment options available, including Boku, Payforit, and Pay via Phone. Boku is the most popular, and it allows users to pay for deposits in two ways; either add the deposit to your monthly phone bill or deduct the deposit from your pay-as-you-go phone credit. All mobile-based payment options work the same way, making for quick and safe payments to online casinos. Unfortunately, there are some downsides to using these methods, and they include low maximum deposit limits, fees for making payments, and the inability to use these methods for withdrawals, which means you’ll be required to select an alternative payment method.

Other methods

There are also plenty of other payment options available to UK online casinos, and they include Apple Pay, Paysafecard, Astro Pay Card, Trustly, and bank transfer – all of which can be used when playing on mobile devices. There are other methods too, but these cannot be used at UK online casinos, they include ecoPayz, MuchBetter, and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin too. Sadly, these are only available at overseas casinos which are not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, making them unsafe to play at.  On the casinonutansvensklicens.org portal, you can pay for your game in various ways, and it is this feature that attracts even the most experienced players.

These are all of the available online casino payment methods which are compatible with smartphone devices. While most are widely accepted, you’ll rarely find a casino website accepting all methods, so it’s important to check each site individually before registering.
