Türk Telekom deploys DCB for the Huawei apps gallery with DOCOMO Digital

0

Türk Telekom, the pioneer of digital transformation in Turkey, has collaborated with DOCOMO Digital, the leading app store integrator, to deploy direct carrier billing (DCB) for Huawei Application Gallery.

DCB is becoming an increasingly popular mode of payment for digital services, especially in emerging markets across the Middle East, as it allows faster and frictionless transactions in App stores such as Huawei App Store, while providing better transparency and control over purchases for subscribers. Digital content consumption has been on a steady rise in Turkey.

‘Turkey’s Multi Player’ Türk Telekom serves 14.8 million land-access lines, 11.6 million broadband, 3.4 million TVs and 23.2 million mobile subscribers as of March 31, 2020. Türk Telekom Group companies are carrying out their activities with 32,499 employees in 81 provinces with the vision of bringing Turkey together with new technologies and accelerating the process of transforming into the information society.

Türk Telekom, which has a wide range of services and rich product diversity in the field of individual and corporate services, has brought together mobile, internet, telephone and TV products and services under the umbrella of a single brand ‘Türk Telekom’ as of January 2016.

Carrier billing has seen a flurry of interest in the past few weeks as operators, content providers and VAS companies all start to see that, with more people than ever using mobile services during the pandemic, the more they need a quick, easy and frictionless way to let people pay.
